So I installed 29.5 inch Terms on my 14 Ranger 570 today. I kept the stock 12s (LE addition). I see that I am in need of wheel spacers but I am not sure of what size and brand. Would 1 inch be good or should I get more. The front right tire is rubbing on the strut. The front left is approx. 1/8 inch from rub. Any other suggestions would be great. I added backwoods armor front a arms as well (think I about destroyed the stock bushings on the install).

1" should get it, if you can't find 3/4". Remember that the further out your wheels are, the more of the road will into to your cab to 'visit' you! Also, wheel spacers increase the arc that your wheels will turn so if you are close to rubbing on your wheel wells, the spacers will make it even closer. Make sure the spacers you get are hub-centric.

Thanks Forde. I wasn't sure how this was going to work out. I found some on SATV that looked good. 1 inch I think.

Just want to add some info and correct one statement.

The wheel spacers also put more load on the bearings, which will cause them to fail sooner ( a lot of variables here I know).

The spacers will be lug centric, not hub. ( unless I have missed something).

I honestly don't think this is really much of an issue. My point being, it's really not any different than running 12" wide tires vs 9" tires, or 4-3 offset vs 5-2 wheels. Yes there is going to be added stress on the steering and bearing but imo very minimal.

Exactly.......I'm running 1 1/2" spacers and trust me when I say "don't stick your head out of the cab going thru mud holes!!!!"

I do agree with you to an extent.
The spacers are not hub centric, they are lug, therefore the shock, load and leverage is multiplied on the wheel studs, putting extra force/stress on the wheel bearings.
Yes, there are many variables that come into play, but the fact still remains that it does shorten bearing life to some degree.

The spacers I purchased off flea bay are hub-centric. Not sure if every make is that way though.

Your unit will be hub centric. The 700/800 have hub centric ( nubs) on them for wheel alignment.
The 2013' - 2015' Ranger 900 XP's do not, they are Lug Centric.
Right on....shame they changed them.
