Yes, save your money and get a light bar.I have a DDM tuning kit in mine and it's junk. My light bar makes my HID's look as bright as fog lights. I have a good quality hid kit in my truck and love it but I can't legally run a light bar while I'm cruising down the road. DDM tuning kits come straight from China,but for $60 I guess they work okay.

I have had zero issues with the ddm kit been running it for over a year. It's a great kit there are many people running it on this forum with no issues. I have the 55w kit and I will say when riding with people at night they get pissy because of how bright they are. You might be better off with a light bar if you ride with people at night that way you can switch it off and run your headlights.

if you have a bar already I wouldn't bother with hids. the light bar is going to over power the hids so its a waste of money
