Just like the title says. Anyone using the lock and ride plugs to secure?

I have a UWS brand tool box that I installed the Polaris lock & ride plugs to. Works great.

Do you have LED lights on the back of the roof?

I am about to install a black box from UWS with the lock and ride plugs. It should come in today from ups. I havent seen this box for $160 anywhere, they are around 300 for polished and close to 400 for the black boxes. I sent a 60" low profile box back it did not work. It was 1 inch too deep and the gas shocks interfered with the lock and ride plugs. I have a 58" wide standard profile that should work. Will post pics when completed.

Here you go the 58" width fit perfect.

can you post part number of the box please
Sure, it is UWS-TBS-58-BLK. Amazon didnt have this one in stock, I found it for a similar price at autozone.com.

i really really like my box ... mounted to the floor with 1/4'' bolts and fender washers ... clean fit and all inside the box, not over the rail. the box was intended to sit ontop of a fuel tank.

Looks good!! Will the low profile not work?

Any box listed to fit a Chevy S 10 or Ford Ranger will fit a full size Ranger, and yes a low profile will work.
You can get a narrow one too, like 12in. or 20in wide. Lowes and TSC had them on hand when I got mine.
I have mine mounted with two 1.5 in test plugs, you could use 4 if you want but 2 works.

With the 20in wide box I still have room for a large cooler and 5gal. gas can in the box. Cooler fits nice and
does not move much. I paid around $200 at TSC for mine.

If you look in my signature you will see a link to my aluminum box thread.

Fathers Day is a very good time to buy tools and so you can often find some great deals on Toolboxes.

Note: I loved the toolbox in the linked thread, but pulled it out and stuck it on the tongue of my trailer. Just too many times I realized I needed the full bed on my ranger and couldn't pull it out. I replaced it with a very nice, Black ABS toolbox with lid that sits inside the bed loose and I can remove as needed when the whole bed is required.

The low profile 58" box is 11 3/4" tall from bottom of tub to the point of attachment on the bed rails.. The bed of the polaris is sloped with 10 1/2 inch at front where tool box is and is 11 1/2 inch at tail gate.
Also the out to out of the 58" box is actuall 59 with the top included. The polaris bed rails are at 59 1/4 out to out.

The standard profile box is only 9 3/8 deep from bed rails to Bim of tub , so it fits.. You just have to give up the low profile top and get the standard top that is 4 1/4 tall

Hmm that's a 58" box? Looks like it does hang over a bit.... Looks like it hangs out as much as a 61.5" box.

These don't offer much space but have served me well for my needs.
