This is what a Sprint tech found when he went to a cell site in Alaska to check why there was no power.

Got this e-mail thought I'd share, if any one lives near where power went out, I'd like to come bear hunting with you !!![]

That's funny and a shame all at the same time. Too bad he had to die like THAT when he just as easily could've been on my wall![]

About the same time this went around the net a year or so ago there was also one of a Moose that got caught in some wires being strung in Alaska. Apparently the Moose saw a threat in the moving wires and got stuck, when they tensioned the cable he was hung 60 or so feet in the air.[:0][]

You have to wonder what Bear saw or thought was interesting in these cables.

Probably the same as most animals....just had to give it the "taste test". My Lab' kept chewing up extension cords and I knew it would only be a matter of time before she found one that would break her of the habit.....sure enough, she found a live one after a few months and the chewing stopped. No more cord repairs! At least it was just 110 volts.
