Wider wheels, wheels with more offset, wider tires and wheel spacers will all widen the track. Most folks go with aftermarket wheels and bigger tires, they will give you a wider track and look good too! Wheel spacers come in different sizes so you can go as wide as you want, but they are fairly pricey. Good luck, Mike

Running alot of offset and /or spacers WILL shorten bearing life. I think it wouldn't be substantial unless you ran more than 1" or so more than stock. Just my 2 cents worth.

All vehicles are designed for a certain offset. Any time you change that you are adding additional stress to the bearings and other suspension parts. The larger the offset the more stress. Like commanderjones said, as long as you don't go too radical, you'll probably be fine...of couse your mileage may vary...[:D] Good luck, Mike

Actualy i run The tracks co. 3" spacers and i drive my ranger like i stole it proper bearing lubercation and maint will insure a long healthy bearing life.before i got the new ones from tracks i had 2" carbon fiber spacers my ranger has 322hrs on it has been rolled three times and yet my spindles are all there still.Note it has never rolled with the 3" spacers it turns like a rocket on rails.
