Looking at buying some take offs from a member on here. Sixr with bighorns off of his 2015. When i looked at them on polaris' website and checked it said they wouldn't fit.does this sound correct

First, please add your unit information in your signature, this will help the PRC members give you a more definitive answer to your question.

They will fit. The newer part numbers cover all Rangers.
Are they a staggered set or same width on all four rims.
What is the tire size ?

They are both 900 xp.mines the 13 and sellers is the 15. They are 26x9x14 and 26x11x14. One place (fix my toys) told me no and one dealer told me yes. I want to make sure 100 percent they will fit
The Polaris wheels offered in there catalog, where modified in late 2012, for the introduction of the 900.
The new part number will fit all Rangers, the old part number pre 2013 ( not sure on exact date) will fit the 700/800 only, without modification.
Do you have a purchase date from the seller?

If your seller purchased the between January 1 2013 - present, they will fit.

Contact seller, get the part number off the inside of the wheel, usually on the spoke area, and I can confirm.

Seller isn't by his rims but they were ppurchased in oct for his 2015 so should be new numbers
The 900 Ranger, as far as wheel fitment, is the same 13'-15'.
If he bought them in October 2014, they will be the new part numbers.
And he also has had them on his 15'.

With what you have described, the wheel and tires will fit with no issues.
