Well I finally got around to buying a plow and winch. I located a Glacier plow that a dealer had used on the showroom so it was still brand new. I bought the plow package for $650.00 and bought a Venom 4000# winch for $226.98 shipped to my door. So for a grand total of $876.98 I'm set up with a plow and a very nice winch. Not a bad deal in my book and the winch can be used all year. I plowed for a couple hours over the weekend and boy does it do a nice job.

I haven't had time to really give the winch a hard workout but I will say it seems very top quality. It's a complete 4000# winch package for $226.98 shipped! It wasn't a bad install either once I got the brush guard and front bumper off. It came with plenty of wiring, rocker switch, a long corded remote that I can plug in and it was all here in three days. Needless to say I'm more than tickled with the Venom winch. I appreciate all the feedback that other members posted on this winch.

I mounted the rocker switch in the storage box for now. I'm wanting to buy and actual switch like the factory Polaris ones in the near future but hey, I'm getting there. [
