Just bought super winch 4000lb I have 2015 ranger what mount will work with this winch
KFI. Depending on if its a wide spool their part # is 101024 or standard spool is 101020. I'm gonna guess without looking it up that the 4000 has a standard width spool? I know the terra 45 is wide. You can find them on kfi's website, amazon, ebay, ect.

Here's a shaky video I found on youtube, only made it through the first few minutes, but you get the idea from it. Only difference would be the wiring, yours will have a different looking relay and probably different colored wires for the winch....blue and yellow? Hope this helps.

I got the Super ATV 4500 winch and mount plate for my 2015 Ranger XP 900 and installed it yesterday. Took me about 1 1/2 to do it. Wasn't that bad. But I did have to mount it upside down. I thought that was kind of weird so I called Super ATV. They confirmed that is correct on the 2015 model with this winch and plate. I did have to spool out the cable and reel it back in the opposite direction or else the controls would have been backwards. One thing I am going to check tonight is if I spool it the other direction would it reel in smoother with less of an angle. If so, I will wire the winch reverse polarity. If it's no different I'll just leave it how it is. Great winch for the money so far. I pulled a couple dead trees down after I was finished. Love the wireless remote that it came with. I have yet to install the wired control yet. Still trying to determine the best spot for it. Most likely right to the gear shift under the knob.

Can u post some pics of it
Sorry Chigger, I didn't see your post yesterday. I'll have to try and get some tonight and post them. I never even got a chance to look at the winch either. And also Chigger, to answer your original question for this post. I just added the mount plate from the selection drop down from Super ATV's website while I ordered my Super ATV 4500 winch. So maybe just call them and order it over the phone. It fit perfectly. And it only goes on one way. Once you get the bumper off and start fitting the mount up it's pretty simple. I was able to mount the mounting plate on, and then mount then winch to it. Kind of cramped on top of the mount plate to get the bolts through into the winch, but it's not an issue. Just use your fingers to hand tighten them as much as possible and then an open end wrench to crank them down.

Yes. I had to drill the four holes out a little larger for the posts on the solenoid winch controller unit to go in and bolt them. Then run the battery cables to the battery compartment. Hook the black to the black ground near the battery and the red goes to the hot side of the solenoid next to the battery. The red remote wire should go to the small wire strip under your hood next to where the winch solenoid is mounted. There should be one wire connected to that. If you check voltage it should only have 12 volts when you turn the key on. That's where your switched remote wire goes. Your winch wires are self explanatory. Wire tie all the slack out of everything and tuck them out of sight and away from any moving parts or from any damage from riding in the woods.
