Welcome to PRC, Chuck.

Although it can be done, I highly discourage it. Poly is prone to scratching and wipers will completely trash it VERY quickly. Using glass where I ride is not a good idea (I've seen way too many get broken), but that is one significant advantage that glass has over poly.

I haven't gone the wiper route yet, but I lean towards what Jerry said. BTW, Welcome to PRC Chuck.

Lexan MR10 is 200X more resistant to impact than glass. However, Glass is 2 to 6x more abrasion resistant than hard coated Lexan. Interesting note, MR10 Lexan is 35X more resistant to abrasion than uncoated Lexan.
