These are some pictures that the Mrs and I took on a trip to East Tennessee where we both grew up. We still have family and property there so it makes it nice because of all the good places to ride. We went to Windrock for all the newbe's that haven't been. Located in Oliver Springs, TN, covers 72,000 acreas, owned by a mining company and is open 24-7. A permit is required. Vehicles of all kinds are allowed and have courses. Bicycles, rock crawlers, atv's UTV's, dirt bikes. Very hilly and mountains galore, something for everyone.

There were probably a dozen or so Rock Crawlers doing their thing on the very difficult and challeging course...

It was raining pretty good that morning and pretty chilly for the people on the ATV's...sure was nice and warm in the Ranger...

The rain made for some pretty good and deep water holes to run thru..

The rain made the trails nice...

Found some un-numbered trails that were neat but un- passable and being on the side of a mountain couldn't go around...so turn around and go back.

After the rain left the sky turned blue and beautiful...

She called this one "Big Rock Candy Mountain"

This was a real strange sight, square Woodpecker holes...???

The scenery is great...

Another unmarked trail and...

another dead end.

There was plenty of water and mud everywhere...no problem for a Ranger.

Found a mountain top with a 360 degree view... perfect time for lunch.

Some of the huge windmills on Windrock...

An old spring house built by slaves during the civil war days at the wife's home place.

These two have us two well trained...Sandy the male and Lupi the she devil...

And I get to clean everything up when we get back home, this was a test run for Moab at the end of the month, two trucks, two trailers, and probably three Rangers, two in the enclosed trailer and one hooked to the back of the fifth wheel. Looking forward to it....

Hope these turn out ok
