I posted this on the General Discussion Forum but so far haven't had any response. Thought I'd look for help from the Mid-Size Owners.

I just purchased a 2015 Ranger 570 Crew Mid-size.

I'm wanting to add either a full windshield with vents or a full windshield that folds-down in the middle.

Polaris doesn't offer either of these options for the 2015 Mid-size.

So far, I've only found two windshields that will work: The full windshield with vents from UTV Headquarters and the fold-down from DOT Weld.

Has anyone used windshields from either of these companies? Any input on your experience with fit, finish and over-all quality is appreciated.

Thanks

I didn't care for the polaris offerings, or their price, so did some searching. What we bought for ours is the Extreme Metal Products full windshield, that folds down on top the hood. Made in the USA, and very well built. We did get the poo poly roof, as I'd like to get a set of poly doors for next winter. The poo roof needs to be popped loose at the front to clear the windshield for folding, but it's so easy that I don't mind it, especially with the amount of rain/mud protection the combo provides. BTW, I will need to move my light bar this spring as it's in the way of folding the windshield down, too. I need to make a mount up towards the top of the roll cage, but ran out of time last fall with modifying the plow and installing the soft doors.

I've gone with a glass front. There really aren't any poly ones out there that don't scratch pretty easily. There is a tilt up glass version from polaris but it's pretty expensive compared to the aftermarket polys out there.

You'll want to make certain the windshield you pick out doesn't attach by wrapping around the ROPS otherwise you won't be able to get a seal on your doors. I bought the hard coated poly windshield for the 2015 midsize and it works good. No scratches so far. It is not a rigid as glass, but substantially cheaper and you can drill holes in it if you wish.
