Windshield Strut Replacement

I have a 2016 900 Crew with the Polaris full cab system(full poly doors, f/r glass). The windshield struts apparently have blown as they no longer hold in the fully open position and I need to replace them. The part number on the struts is SUSPAPARTS 1544 C16-32076 40 LBS. I have searched here and on the Suspa Parts website but cannot locate that strut. Does anyone know where I might find these?

I have not looked into this, but It could be the case of them being designed for Polaris.
The length of the body as well as the extended dimension may not be standard.
And Polaris has a contract with them, this way you have to purchase them through Polaris.

The reason I mention this, I went through this exact same thing on the tilt steering wheel shock.
It was made by Stabilis, the part number could not be located online, and at that time could only be bought through Polaris.

Not saying this is the case, just provided some info.

Edit: Polaris service kit for Tip Out Windshield, Polaris Part# 2207158.
Includes 2 struts, 2 ball mounts and nuts. Approx $65

I blew out both struts on my Ranger windshield, warrantee covered their replacement.
Thanks for the replies guys. I stopped in at RideNow and ordered two new struts. Out the door about $150, yikes!

If you would have ordered the Part number ( online) that I posted, it was less than $65 for the set.

But then they would not of had the joy of paying almost three times as much. :).Retail Therapy. I hear it is all the rage ..................:bi_polo:

Does anyone know if this part number also works for replacement struts on a poly flip up? As far as I know it’s factory (bought the machine used). Struts have “LPC lavanture products, Elkhart IN” printed on them. Thanks!
Measure the distances of the mounting points and compare them to the distances on a vehicle with the glass windshield.

I called Suspa, and they don’t list this part on their website or sell this part number because it’s a customer specific part (the customer has asked them not to list or sell it). BUT….Suspa let me know that they do sell this exact same part, but have it listed as a different part number for resale: C16-08316.
