I have a 2007 700XP and my next investment will be a windshield. I have been reading the posts about windsields and the "backwash" if you don't have a rear window. Some of the pictures show a windshield that appears to be hinged at the top and can open 100%. Is this a good windshield and will the supports hold it open while riding the trails. I live in Central North Carolina and the cool breeze feels good in the summer. I have a Curtis roof installed and plan on installing doors for the winter season. Any feedback will be appreciated.

happy Trails

I have one of the Rangerware windshield, and Curt is right about being good quality, but I don't think I would be doing a whole lot of ride with the windshield tilted all the way up, I live in Texas and do run mine with the windshield tilted about 3 inches.

Thanks for the information. I wish I could find a windshield like my golf cart has. It's plexi and folds in the middle. Works great and really cuts down on the cold air. The Rangerware windshield that pushes out at the bottom about 6" looks like the one to own. It's expensive but it's Rangerware. Not sure if the backdraft is a problem with this windshield.
