My take from this original post http://www.prcforum.com/forum/27-me...ade-mods/24493-wood-cab-doors-back-panel.html
I picked up a used rear sliding window from a Ford Ranger and installed it in a piece of 1/4" plywood using the original gasket. Then layered it with a piece of 1/2" plywood to make the rear panel.
Used 3/4" plywood for the doors but left the horizontal strip for more support and smaller pieces of plexi-glass.Most glass is "glued" with clear silicone sealer/adhesive into a rabbit made with a router bit. Storm window retainer clip are used as a back-up. The top window on the drivers side slides in a double plastic channel glued and screwed in the opening http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O8ZJUPE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 found on Amazon. I used door edge guard from O'Reilly's Cowles Products T5602 - Edge Trim | O'Reilly Auto Parts to reinforce the plexi edges and tighten up the gap in the channel.
Inside door handle/arm rest is 1-1/8" wood dowel rod . I modified the lower driver door panel so tool box door may be opened while door is closed. Both doors were reinforced around seat to limit drafts. Used a "computer desk grommet" in the back panel to pass spot sprayer wiring and GPS cables through. Lack of quality wood made good reason for Rust-Oleum satin black paint. Steve
