Bad Boy or Toy ;-)
[8D][8D][8D] but $$$$ YIKES, ya gotta be serious about your toys on this one!!!
Sound high, but with everything he has invested in it, somebody who want a 6X6 hotrod that is probably the cheap way to go.
Sure was! I took the plunge and am the new owner! I should have it in my hands in another week or so. I'll keep you guys updated, I have more yet planned for the machine as well! I know off hand I saved at least $10,000 in modifications I didn't have to do including shipping all the way 2300miles up to me from LA!

Welcome to the forum Gavin,
I also love 6x6's and think that the machine you bought will be the baddest rig in the woods, congrats.
Welcome aboard. Looks like you've certainly got started on the right foot. Bad ride!
Welcome aboard Gavin, that is what smokin machine!!
Nice ride, seems like I have seen pictures of it before...maybe Mud Nationals.
Welcome to the PRC, good luck with the 6X6 it looks like it will be able to go just about anywhere with no troubles.
Thanks guys! I have been torturing the old mans Series 10 2002 500 6x6 for long enough. Time to get my own, and saw this and couldn't pass it up! The owner had a hard time selling it but needs the money to get his new business started since he went separate ways with Gorilla Axle. I already have the new ITP Terra Cross tires with 108 Machined rims waiting to go on it to take it up in the sand this summer. Don't think the machine is gonna make it for the Canada Day trip June 1st. But I'll have it ready for the next trip in August. Hopefully 26" tires don't look too small on it! Never thought I'd say that before, 26" tires looking small on an ATV! Anyhow, I'll post many pics for everyone to see and keep updates on mods and fixes for it through time. First is to make dual aluminum tanks since the tires were too big for the stock 8.5gal tank, so I'm going to fab up two tanks about 5 gals on each side, under the seat. Thanks again, feel free to give me tips on quick fixes and mods for it that have worked good for you guys! I'll have it for sure the shipping company said in the week of July 8th sometime? Can't wait!

Make sure to take and post plenty of pictures Gavin, that's one BAD looking machine and I would love to see some action shots.

I'll be giving it lots of action in sand hauling big loads up to the dunes in our areas towing tub trailers, hunting hauling moose out the bush through nasty muskeg and elk hunting down in the Rocky Mountains so I'll be sure to have lots of pics to post. This guy really went through and made this machine really factory like. It's pretty neat cause I can just walk into the Polaris dealership for almost all the parts other than the lift itself. Gorilla axles were used, and it's a 4x4 Ranger rear IFS grafted onto the back of the center IFS that was moved forward to fit the 30" tires. This also caused the panels to have to be trimmed and the stock fuel tank replaced with a 4gal fuel cell instead that I'll be replacing with dual aluminum fuel tanks to hold about 10 gal of fuel. It's neat cause I can now unlock the rear last two wheels just like the 4x4 Rangers for easier steering and the switch is the same under the AWD switch on the dash. The 800EFI is fully functioning in relation to the stock speedo cluster, everything works like factory! The box still tilts, the brackets to tilt the box had to be relocated however. The parking brake assembly is still complete and intact like the factory setup on the rear driveshaft. I can't think what else to mention about it he told me? Maybe just that he has an aftermarket silencer and the exhaust had to be custom fabbed to fit the longer length of the 6x6. Supposedly running the 4x4 Ranger IFS shortens the 6x6 length 6"s overall. So turning radius should be better than a factory Ranger, especially with the unlockable rearmost diff. So technically you can be in 3X6 all the time, then lock it into 4X6, and then another step yet to 6x6. Pretty neat... The black paint really wakes up the bland green only offered. I was already thinking of picking up some Turbo Silver dash and hood panels to replace the green if I bought a stock one anyhow. So far the other plans are to get the extreme brush gaurds for the headlights/hood, side fender gaurds, rear box gaurds, and rear bumper, lock and ride cab system for winter, snow plow, and maybe the Mattracks system if they fit for hunting in the muskeg (yes I still think I need more machine for the skeg, it's just that soft!).... I'm just wondering if I'm going to have more problems with motor mounts with the 800 EFI in there instead of the 700? My step-dad already had motor mounts go out on his Carbed 700 SP... I'm also looking into getting snorkels installed for the engine and clutches, clutch kit, power programmer, and maybe even a supercharger from MMI if they don't burn too much more fuel at cruising speed? The mods never end with me no matter what I'm working on, so the list just keeps growing till I sell the machine or run outta things to get! LOL Anyone have a pic of the emailed 6x6 IFS Polaris has been sending out?
