So now that I have my crew all set up the way I like it, I am looking for some better suspension. I am uses to my jagged x rzr that I did custom Needle valve shocks on and my ranger is like a grocery cart compared.....Anyone know the best set up or a great long travel kit? I fI can get a good ride, Its a beast in the woods. Planning a little more power but suspension is just like adding power. Who's got a good set up I can duplicate?

Left him a message. He emailed that he will get back to me once caught up from the weekend. Good enough..Wondering about the elk stage 4 also. Seem like a good shock. Or the dragon fire long travel with shocks included.....Probably should have just done the rzr 1000 4...been cheaper!!

Really debating if the shocks will help that much now. Seems we only have so much travel. I think if I did a long travel where I could get a lot more shock under it, a custom built set of kings would be great. Just may be over kill for a ranger. Sure hate to keep adding, only to park it as a neighbor hood toy and end up with another rzr to start all over with.

Like you are finding out, your ranger will never perform like a RZR... :) unfortunately...

But as far as more travel, you can stuff any length shock you want under your Ranger as long as it will physically fit and you can live with the axle angle...:)... I went longer than stock with my shocks but i have a little more to work with because of the longer a-arms...

Yeah, I guess I am trying to make one toy work for all I do, and i probably should keep this one for the pool, and buzzing around, plowing snow, and a little work, and do another rzr for just trails. Before my jagged was not family friendly, just trails. As far as long travel goes, I was looking for all the companies that offer it and there are not many for the 2014. if I knew 4 grand in suspension would make up for some lack of power, since you could push what you have to the limit, I would do it, Just not sure yet, Most of the time I am pushing this thing to its limits already. I did send off for a refresh of the ECU so Ill see if that helps. Low boost turbo would be the ticket like MCX does for the RZR.
