Me and my wife bought a 2010 XP thinking that we would be able to get an electric dump bed. The dealer ordered the lift, but when tryng to intall it they ran into a problem.

There was not enough room for the lift to fit into this area due to the housing.

My dealer/owner came up with a solution to get my wife the bed lift that she wanted installed. He stayed and worked on this till 10:00 p.m. one night himself. I can't say enough good things about Gillis Small Engine.

Here's his solution; which we are very happy with. I will see if he can come up with a guard to help protect it, and keep some mud off of it at the 25 hour service.

We can't say enough good things about Boyce and his employees. He made my wife, and me very happy. :D

Looks like it will work great for dumping light loads, like grass clippings or leaves. But I'd be worried about the bed twisting if trying to dump a heavy load, like rocks, gravel, sand, topsoil, etc. Nice fab job though...:)

Kaveman, yep that was a concern. However, the wife only uses it to dump light loads. When she trims the shrubs, roses or flowers, she'll go around the house with the ranger and load the bed as she's working. Then, she'll carry it off down in the field somewhere, and dump it. We have a tractor with a front end loader that gets the heavy jobs around the house.
