Could a Dealer,

Do one of the Reflashes ,,on your 900 Ranger XP- ECU - Like the after market companies are doing...Should they want ,,not as A dealer but an Individual who works at one.

I heard of A couple ,of guy's doing this for friends ,But ,they did it after Hours ,and would not be responsible for them ,But, both the guy's Machines,,were off Warranty. So they didn't care.these guy's are all friends and ride together.

Now ,,this is ,,second hand information ,, I was just curious about ,

Like most rumors ,,you take them with a grain ,or sometimes A whole box of Salt,,,LOL

I don't much believe the story ,because the Computers would hold the information ,and ,could cause problems,,

Just Asking.

If I'm understanding your question correctly it may need to be re-worded...could a "dealer" re-flash your Ranger 900 ECM with an aftermarket program? The short answer is no, they can not. If the dealer is a certified Polaris dealer/reseller performing an ECM flash on a machine other than that which has been specifically instructed by Polaris it could quickly turn into a lawsuit to include the dealership losing their privilege to sell anything manufactured by Polaris. Now with the disclaimer out of the way, if an employee of a given-Polaris dealership, acting on their own accord, decides to re-flash an ECM without the consent of Polaris, there’s nothing Polaris can do about it…as long as it’s done off the books (ie. under the table)…

Thanks
That was my Question,,,Bad Wording on my part,,
I actually heard some guy's,, at ,,Wal Mart,,Sporting goods Dept Counter,,Talking about this three of them had been riding and were talking about the difference in their Rangers,,since one of them who ,I understood worked at A Polaris a Dealer ,,had in their words, tuned their Rangers,to run close to the Razor .I ask them about it and they didn't have much to say,I figured they had done it as friends off the books or were talking about something above my head.

But
I do know where to come to get the Scoop,,,,for real.,,,,,,LOL
THANKS GUYS
