For the sake of reality of life, what is the "worth it" difference between 570 and 570 Full Size?

I can't really tell any just looking at specs.

Looking at both tomorrow, would be nice to know...

Thank you

I own a 500 mid size, and a 570 full size. You can get an extra butt in the full size, as long as its a skinny butt. We can put a grandchild in the middle in the full size, even a booster seat. The mid size only has two seat belts. The full size bed is bigger, longer and wider. If its just my wife and I, and maybe a lap dog, I prefer the midsize, throw in the grandkids, gotta take the full size.

This is funny, for all we know, the guy will lend up with a Kawasaki.
Now we are much smarter and more knowledgeable about the 570

Lots of confusion on this.
The mid size and the full size share the same basic drive train and tires and wheels and struts and rear suspension except for springs.
Most everything else is different and the full size is not the same as the 570 XP.

The full size uses the body and round tube roll cage from the old 800 Ranger and the bed from the 900XP. The mid has its own version of the Pro Fit cage and uses the bed from the older mid size.
The full size body and seat are wider by about 4 inches than the mid.
The wheelbase is 6 inches longer than the mid and it is 4 inches longer overall.
It payload capacity is 1500 pounds compared to the mids 1000 pounds.
The full size width is only 2 inches wider because the widest part is the body. The widest part of the mid is the rear tires which stick out a little. They both use the same rear axles and a arms which makes the rear track on the full size more narrow than the front. But the full is quite a bit bigger overall than the mid. If you put 4+4 wheels on the rear of the full size it brings the tires out where they should be.

Yes they are really different and yes the full size is really bigger.

Looking at the Polaris website - it doesn't appear to me that they offer the 570 full size with the ProFit cage anymore (570 XP I think it was)

I see the 570 midsize and the 570 fullsize both appear to have a round bar cage on the new ones.

I've had both sizes, and I prefer the full size, but there are some advantages to being smaller. I got stuck far less in the same muddy conditions with comparable tires in the smaller; maybe that was dumb luck, maybe it was because it weighed so much less. I've now got ridiculously aggressive mud tires on my 900xp and it doesn't get stuck anywhere the first 20 or so times through the same mud.. but eventually the tires excavate ruts deep enough to bottom out the body and I get stuck. Wasn't an issue with the less aggressive tire on the lighter utv.

I compared the Full Size to the Mid Size when I purchased my Ranger 570 Full Size in 2015. The size of the bed was important to me. When carrying firewood along with a chain saw, fuel, etc, the bed gets small pretty fast. Even when moving only firewood from my storage to my front porch stockpile for immediate use it takes two beds FULL to fill my front porch ready use rack. The Full Size is wider so if very narrow trails are in your travels it may not fit and I think some riding parks don't allow vehicles over a certain width (not sure on that), however the additional width also provides more stability. If you plow snow the Full Size will require a 72" plow when angled to keep the wheels in the cleared path.

I'm only 5'8" but the extra cab room of the full size is nice and handy. I can take the wife and the dog or another person along or if alone put the chainsaw or other tools or small equipment inside.

For me, the under seat storage hasn't been a huge benefit. I keep the OEM tool kit and a couple of other things in there but seldom use them. Much depends upon your needs.

I don't know about accessories for the Mid Size units but the Polaris ProFit stuff is pretty nice (also expensive) for the XP series which shares the chassis with my 2015 570 full size. Things may have changed since I bought mine so my comments may not apply exactly to what is available new today.

I'm 6'3" tall, when I set in a midsize, my knees were rubbing the dash.
The full size has a round 2" roll bar which you can find more options of accessories and something cheaper.
Back at 2016 they made a 570 xp which came with more options like better suspension, turf mode, power outlets, tilt steering and pro-fit roll cage.
When I got the 900xp, I just transferred all the accessories to the new one.
I did it because I got an extremely good deal on the trade-in. (Only $3000 when my 2016 570 had 2000 miles on)
The full size is more comfortable for two big guys with weapons in the middle.
Also you get more storage bins under the front seats.
Yes, in some parks in Florida you are not allowed if the machine is wider than 52" but there are other roads to ride on.
If you need all of the above, I would recommend the full size.
