I have done a few but all with the head off. Is the head off your machine?

 

Gonna do it with the head on. Gonna try the rope in the cylinder trick. Got any tips on the actual Hot Cam buckets and shims installation. Thanks

 

Well if you can get the keepers and springs off the rest is easy. Just basically installing a new valve spring retainer.
